I loved Sam with all my heart. Moving to Utah in 6th grade was hard. But Sam was always my friend. Growing up and going ton scouting adventures with him was a great lesson in life. I always wanted to hike as fast and hard as Sam. I call it “Sam mode” to this day. I’m really gonna miss you buddy and I’m sorry we lost touch; I wish I coulda carried your backpack and helped you out brother. Fly high and fast brother; I’ll come find you one day. I love you
